I’m delighted to announce I was nominated for the Second Annual Plutus Awards, an award celebrating the best in personal finance! And the Dividend Ninja was no-less nominated in two categories, for Best Investing Blog, and for Best Designed Personal Finance Blog. I was indeed quite humbled to be considered a Best Investing Blog, considering the calibre and quality of other great investment bloggers out there. Thank you to all those who nominated me! The winners will be announced at the 1st Annual Financial Bloggers Conference in Chicago, which I will be attending at the beginning of October.
If you’re curious what Plutus is all about, and the origins of the word, you can read up on the Greek mythology surrounding wealth, and its origins from Pluto and the underworld. As Flexo writes, “If the awards were named the Pluto Awards, it would sound more like we were honoring a Disney character or paying respect to the former ninth planet of the solar system.”
And now for the pitch! I could really use your help, from my readers and fellow-bloggers. I have some pretty stiff competition, which includes very well known and established finance blogs, and they have a large following of readers to draw from. Usually Ninjas work independently at night in the stealth of darkness, but sometimes even Ninjas need some help. So if you can take a few minutes out of your day to vote I am most grateful:

LOL there are hundreds of personal finance and investment bloggers out there – and many high quality ones as well. 250+ of them will be in Chicago. That’s why I was rather humbled to be considered “best investing blog”, when so many others are doing a great job as well – like you!
